In these pieces for four hands the teacher will generally play the secundo part which is a bit more difficult than the primo part. The primo part is mostly unisono.

Mixed feelings

When my publisher came with a request to compose a number of pieces for 4 hands my first reaction was to decline because I didn't know how to achieve something like that! But he kept persisting and expected results. The idee occurred to me to search among all the songs I had made for several cabarets and this piece is one of them. Originally I wrote it for a cabaret in honor of the European meeting of all Round Tables 17 and it was called "Is there a life after forty" (as you probably know you have to leave the Table at age 40).

Waltzing Louise

I asked my sister Louise for help at the primo-part and this is what came out!

Pavane

There is something tricky in the primo-part: in the bars 17/20 it isn't unisono anymore and it needs proper counting.

Rainy again

Rainy again has a beautiful secundo part.

Blue seventeen

This was the openings-song of the same cabaret and the lines we sang were very profound: "seventeen, doupty-doupty- doudy, seventeen, doupty-doupty-doudy-who-ho-aaaaaaaaaaaa".
